Being a Londoner who visits Manchester regularly I enjoy trying out different eateries each time I stay in the city. I'd been given a voucher for this establishment, buy one main course get one free. Thank God I didn't have to pay full price as I was disappointed to say the least. The premises look promising in a beautiful period building in a very fashionable part of the city. The service was charming, but having lived and worked in Italy for quite a few years I can vouch that the pizza is more 'Pizza Hut' than anything you'd be served in the country from which this simple dish originates. How difficult can it be to replicate an authentic pizza? My companion had a gnocchi dish with meat sauce which was a bit cloying but edible. They won't be seeing me again, voucher or no voucher!
Dough's munch is sik man. The pizza are bang on fella. When I'm missioning about the NQ with my boys and we need a munch we used to go hunters but nah, nah, now we go to Dough and get a pizza man- peace
Their pizza is top, defo go here if you're out in Northern Quarter and can't be arsed missioning about for scran
I visited Dough one lunchtime with a colleague. The reception was good and the menu has a wide range of choices - including gluten free food!
We both had an excellent pizza and enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. Will definitely return.
