Taking place at one of Manchester’s prettiest buildings, The Opera House, this year’s pantomime is a classic tale, and if you love nothing more than booing and hissing your way through a couple of hours of light hearted panto, then make sure you get your Aladdin tickets. The appearance of Corrie actors Gray O’Brien and Eric Potts are just two reasons to buy Aladdin tickets. Manchester soap fans will be delighted to see O’Brien on stage and this light-hearted romp in Aladdin is a far cry from his murderous turn as the villainous Tony Gordon. Whilst the roles are very different, the actors will be on very familiar ground – the Coronation Street set is literally across the road from the Opera House.

Eric Potts, best known as the baker in Corrie, will be reprising the role of Widow Twankey, a role he's played many times before.
