Tandem paragliding is best described as hang gliding in a rucksack, with an instructor attached! Weighing as little as 5Kg (11lbs), paragliders are capable of flying hundreds of miles, un-powered, using wind and air currents to sustain flight - just like birds!

We use the most professional solo and tandem paragliding training centre in the Manchester area, who not only have a faultless safety record, are also recommended by the sports Governing Body, the BHPC.

If you haven't flown before, tandem paragliding offers you the unique opportunity to fly on your very first day! Hang gliding, with its more complex controls and higher speeds takes considerably longer. It is more demanding, physically and mentally and therefore most beginners opt go for a tandem paragliding experience first.

The tandem paragliding experience includes approximately 20 - 30 minutes soaring with the British Champion Tandem Pilot and Instructor. If the flight is shorter, a second flight will be included. After your experience, if you decide to take a full course or a package, the voucher will give you a £30 discount!

Tandem paragliding is taken on a two man Paraglider where the pilot does the flying for you. While you are airborne you can sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
