This one and a half day surfing course involves a friendly team of BSA qualified instructors teaching you all you need to know about surfing to get the very best out of this world renowned coastline, where Atlantic ocean swells, beautiful beaches, clean green waves and birds and seals make this a real surfers paradise.
Over the course of two days, you will cover the following essential aspects of surfing; basic surf and beach safety, an introduction to surfing equipment, paddling techniques, wave selection and wave etiquette. With a little help from Preseli's highly professional instructors, you'll be standing on your board in no time, experiencing the adrenalin rush of catching your first ever wave.
With this exciting weekend, you will get the chance to experience surfing on the best beach breaks in West Wales, and this combined with awe inspiring scenery, and more blue flag beaches than anywhere else in Britain ensures there is truly no better venue in the UK to surf at this level.
After a well earned meal Saturday evening, relax at the lodge or take a wander down to the local pub. Alternatively, for the perfect apres-surf feeling, we recommend unwinding in front of one of the wood burning stoves or around the bonfire site with a glass of wine in hand.
During your weekend break you will stay at the 3 star Preseli Venture Lodge set in 3 acres of stunning National Park and woodland. Facilities include two communal lounges, pool table, sun room, wood burning stoves, patio area for summer sunsets or winter bonfires, private beach and most importantly, a well stocked bar. Rooms sleep 2-8 people and all meals are all hearty and home cooked.
