Valentines Day at Manchester Restaurants

Posted by: Mark O'Donnell 12/01/2009 @ 11:33

No sooner have you been fleeced senseless buying presents for your loved ones over Christmas, than the next big wallet-troubling event starts shimmying into view. Fail to be decisive and miss out on your favourite table – prepare for life in the dog house, mate.

OK, so what’s the drill this Valentines Day at Manchester restaurants? Well, I would advise not to come across as too much of a skinflint. You don’t want to get called peppered at the dinner table, even though a confused waiter might bring you the black pepper grinder, …

January Offers at Manchester Restaurants

Posted by: Mark O'Donnell 09/01/2009 @ 15:30

Whatever I say in December about taking it easy and not going out in January goes straight out the window, as soon as my hangover has cleared from New Year’s Eve. Admittedly I haven’t got as much money to spend so that’s why I’ll be taking advantage of the January offers at Manchester restaurants, already have in fact, you can always rely on Pizza Express putting on a good deal like their 2-4-1 deal that’s doing the rounds at the moment. You don’t even have to pay for the most expensive one! This is definitely one of the best options out of all the January offers at Manchester restaurants.

When it comes to cheap restaurant offers and special offers …

It was a great way to see in the New Year. Many people will be choosing to spend this New Years Eve at Manchester restaurants, clinking their glasses, and spending quality time with friends and family.

When planning a New Years Eve at Manchester restaurants one of the biggest questions is: do you go for a somewhere that’s offering a set menu or do you choose one of your favourite places that’s serving up its normal fare?

If, like me, …

Eating Out The Palm Of His Hand - Manchester Loves Michael Caines

Posted by: LisaE 16/04/2008 @ 15:04
Subject: Restaurants

When a celebrity chef comes to town there is often much pomp and circumstance but all too little flair. So it was with some trepidation that Manchester received the news that Masterchef star Michael Caines was opening a restaurant in the new Abode Hotel. And to be fair, many were looking to find fault, a small hairline crack in the service or food that could point to a dismal future demise. No such cracks appeared though and in fact the restaurant has already been racking up several plaudits, all of which are justly deserved.

So, it was with some excitement that we heard about the wine dinner that Michael Caines is hosting on 2nd May. At £75 per person, the places aren’t cheap but frankly we’d pay double the money to learn what the celebrity chef has to say on the subject of all things foodie especially when it comes to local, …
